What do you do in your life (work and fun)?

Life doesn’t go according to plan, so, if I can’t figure out the future I’ve decided to focus all my energies on what I can do right now, that will be good no matter what the future brings, and this is what I do in my life every day at work. Whenever I can, I spend time with my family and friends, without all of them I wouldn’t be here today writing this article. I love dogs and horses, they are my best medicine.

What made you leave Italy and chose NYC/Miami?

To be honest, fate brought me to New York the really first time, I was chosen for an internship. The reasons why I decided to leave my country and my family have been more than one, but mainly because I found a real opportunity to start something new on my own regardless anything less. I needed to proof myself in a world where your resume doesn’t require to show your picture, your age, sex or status. I needed to know if I was worth it for the trust of my father who was willing to share with me, no matter what, everything he built in his entire life.

Please share your best memory in the City.

One day, while I was working for my boss in New York something happened at work and I was in panic waiting for him to come in and tell me how we could have solved that particular situation. He was late, I didn’t know what to do, and when he showed up and I started explaining him my “little drama” he interrupted me saying: ”I hired you to bring me solutions, not problems”, after that he disappeared into his office and I started seeing what I had to do in the first place.

What made you choose this specific location and outfit?

It’s where we have decide to open the new American’s headquarter. I love the energy and the feelings I get just walking through this neighborhood, one of the largest open-air street-art installations in the world. From warehouse and manufacturing district to Art District, I just love that.

Your thought about this project, ITALIANY.US

I think that this project is a step toward to help our Country, especially the young generation, to keep alive their hope and those of all the Italians who, like us, do not stop to experience this moment so difficult for our country, but go ahead and try to restore the honor of the word “Italy”. I am honored to be considered part of this project.

How would you describe being an ambassador of the italian style/culture abroad?

I just feel that I’m doing the right thing sharing with the rest of the world my family’s experience achieved in the optical industry. The genius of a person cannot be reproduced, inspiration, though, is contagious and multiform.
